This healthy, independent senior was worried about the appearance and longevity of his lower front teeth, and he had a worsening bite, so much so that "no one wanted to touch" his case. He had a deep overbite and a collapsing bite that was affecting his TM joints, and had worn the backs of his upper front teeth so much they were in danger of breaking off at the gum line. Dr. Balloch did a bite analysis and Smile Design, and while his patient was off to sleep with intravenous sedation, performed full mouth rehabilitation using crowns, and made a protective night time bite guard to protect his teeth and TM joints.
