Teeth in a Day
with All-on-4 Dental Implants
All-on-4 is a revolutionary treatment concept that has reduced the dental implant timeline, allowing patients to receive a stable new set of teeth in a single day. Essentially, the patient arrives to our office in the morning, get all their diseased or failing teeth removed, implants placed and new teeth installed the very same afternoon.
All-on-4 Dental Implants vs. Traditional Dental Implants
All-on-4 implant is a revolutionary implant treatment procedure at our Glastonbury, CT, practice that requires less bone tissue than traditional dental implant procedure. This makes it a viable tooth replacement option for many patients with missing teeth who do not want to wear traditional dentures. The implant procedure can provide patients with a significant improvement in their quality of life and several other benefits:
Only One Surgery
Only four implant posts are embedded into your jaw during one surgical appointment. A full dental arch is attached to the posts during the same visit. Traditional implant dentures require a greater number of posts as well as multiple surgeries and appointments.
All-on-4 technology eliminates months-long healing periods between the two surgeries needed for traditional implants. With All-on-4, you can go back to a normal diet and lifestyle in just a few days.
No Bone Grafts
All-on-4 does not require bone grafting because two of the four posts are placed at an angle to maximize contact with the existing bone tissue. Many patients with missing teeth suffer bone atrophy, meaning traditional implants would not be recommended unless the jawbone is first strengthened through bone grafting.

A Look at the All-on-4 Implant Treatment
Am I a Good All-on-4 Implant Candidate?
Dr. Bidra and Dr. Balloch will thoroughly review your medical and dental history, and examine 3-D images of your oral structure to determine if you are a candidate for All-on-4 implants. You should also meet these qualifications:
- You are missing most or all of the natural teeth on your lower or upper dental arches.
- You have enough healthy jawbone tissue to support the four implants needed.
- You must commit to good oral hygiene so your implants and restorations last as long as possible.
- You are a non-smoker or can commit to reducing and quitting. Smoking can delay healing.
- Your general medical health is not severely compromised and you don't have uncontrolled autoimmune disorders

Worried about Costs? Your Investment Could Last a Lifetime
Most patients are curious about what is the cost of All-on-4 ? Although All-on-4 is more cost-effective than traditional techniques, dental implant treatment requires a significant financial investment. Plus, insurance rarely, if ever, covers implant surgery. Most insurance plans should cover a portion of your restorations, but out-of-pocket costs may remain. That's why our Glastonbury practice offers CareCredit® financing to break down costs into affordable monthly payments. The cost of All-on-4 varies based on bone availability, need for 4 or 6 implants (sometimes called as All on 6) and need for sedation/sleep dentistry. Our doctors want everyone to receive the dental care they need to live a better life, despite budget concerns. Even a single missing tooth can have a huge impact on your health and confidence, but a complete, healthy smile is worth every penny. Please call us for a consultation and we will work with you! We are here for you!
