When you enter our beautifully appointed reception area, you will find yourself being treated with compassion and respect by our friendly, well-trained staff. We do everything we can to provide a relaxing visit to the dentist. We have a friendly and comforting staff and we offer several comforting amenities - a beautiful reception area, plush comfortable chairs, blankets and hot washcloths at the conclusion of your visit. We are proud to offer sleep dentistry (sedation) for patients who have a fear of the dentist or dental procedures. Dr. Avinash S. Bidra
Dr. Bidra is a Board Certified Prosthodontist (a dental specialist in implants, cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry) and a sub-specialist in Maxillofacial Prosthodontics. He has extensive experience with dental implants and has pioneered many novel techniques and treatment protocols. Dr. Bidra trains other dentists on dental implants and is the Director of the Prosthodontics Residency Program at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. He is also a Clinical Professor who teaches advanced prosthodontics, implant surgery, and maxillofacial prosthodontics to postgraduate dental residents.
Dr. Xiao Chun Li
Dr. Xiao Chun Li is a Board Certified Prosthodontist, originally from Montréal. She earned her doctoral degree in dental medicine at McGill University followed by advanced training in cosmetics and implants during her specialization in Prosthodontics from the UConn School of Dental Medicine. She has been practicing dentistry in Connecticut since 2015. She is one of the very few women in Connecticut who is board certified in Prosthodontics.
Julie Andrews, RDH
Julie Andrews is a registered dental hygienist (RDH) for almost 30 years. She has extensive experience in oral hygiene procedures, maintenance of natural and restored dentition, oral hygiene instructions, biological maintenance including delivery of localized drugs. Julie is extremely through and gentle with her care and compliments the prosthodontic treatment of our board certified prosthodontists. Julie brings personalized care to patients and nurtures existing relationships with her patients and fosters new ones to help improve outcomes. Julie’s philosophy of care is “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!” While not at work, Julie enjoys gardening, cooking, swimming, paddle boarding, traveling, spoiling my dog, and being a hockey mom!
