Dr. Joshua Lomke grew up in a dental family, spending many hours in his father’s dental practice where his ambition to become a dentist began. Dr. Lomke graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park where he earned a degree in General Biology with a specialization in Ecology and Evolution in 2011. In 2015 he was awarded his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University Of Maryland School Of Dental Surgery, graduating near the top of his class. Dr. Lomke has been selectively awarded entrance to a multitude of honors societies during his time at the University Of Maryland Dental School. These include GORGAS Odontological honors society, Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontic Honors society, and well as membership into Alpha Omega (AO) Professional Fraternity. Following graduation, Dr. Lomke has greatly expanded his knowledge of laser dentistry and its many applications. Committed to providing the best, most advanced dental care to all of his patients, Dr. Lomke keeps up to date on advances in the dental field and enhances his skills by attending continuing education courses and reviewing the most recent literature on dental techniques.

Dr. Lomke was raised in Silver Spring, MD and has recently relocated to Connecticut. His hobbies include baseball, exercise, healthy eating, skiing, spending time with his dog, and volunteering.
